Early intervention at ASHRAYA is one comprehensive service to provide focused stimulation for the toddlers and pre-schoolers with developmental delays, identified high risk conditions or disabilities. The focus of Early Intervention program is to help the children learn skills focusing on the developmental domains that typically develop during the first three years of life such as
Physical (reaching, rolling, crawling, and walking),

Communication (talking, listening, understanding)
Social/emotional (playing, feeling secure and happy) and Self Help (eating, dressing).

One to One Sessions which are specifically designed according to the child’s needs and abilities in a multi-Sensory approach which includes Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetics, Tactile based stimulation and Sensory Integration. Each session is customized keeping the child's interests in mind and is predominantly child directed.

In ASHRAYA we focus on helping the children communicate in all of their environments by building on their strengths. The therapy is completely individualized based on the child’s needs. We work together with the child in a fun and exciting way to achieve the goals. For non-verbal communication therapy, we use specified therapy techniques such as sing language, voice output and picture system like AAC and PECS.
Special education uses incidental teaching using behaviour principles of ABA within natural learning contexts. These interventions are designed to help individuals with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in day to day in their community and gain qualities for vocational training stage.
Cognition and Academic Skill Development - This program combines cognition along with academic skills development to expose children to both pre-academic and academic skills necessary to be successful in a mainstream classroom setting and to improve their logical, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Each child has an individual education plan which focuses on developing cognitive, social-emotional, language and sensory-motor skills

Our interventional plans to reduce problematic behaviours and encourage acceptable behaviour. We also design, implement and monitor home-based behavioural interventions
Behaviour Therapy -At ASHRAYA we follow a Behaviour analytical program for autism and other disabilities which focuses on teaching small, measurable units of behaviour in a systematic way. Every skill that a child with disability has to master is broken down into small steps. Task Analysis, Positive reinforcement, altering antecedents and consequences have been incorporated in our interventional plans to reduce problematic behaviors and encourage good behaviour. We also design, implement and monitor home-based behavioural interventions.

occupational therapy unit majorly focuses on to develop skills for hand writing, fine motor hand function, daily living skill and functional skills. To learn these skills child, need postural stability, hand and finger muscle strength, eye to hand coordination, bilateral hand coordination and sensory diet. In occupational therapy unit we assess and target the child’s sensory issues. This helps in removal of barriers to learning and helps the child become more calm and more focused. These skills make the children more independent in their daily and vocational life.
In our physical therapy unit we use wider range of treatment techniques, approaches, procedures in order to meet the physical demand of the children. The primary aim of physiotherapy is to restore the normal range of movement and function, dealing with both the gross motor and finer motor aspects.
We at ASHRAYA center to improve the speech and language skills of the child to age-appropriate levels. The treatment primarily depends on the child’s mode of communication that is verbal and non-verbal communication while strengthening the muscles of the mouth for easy movements making sure that no aspect of the body hinders communication.
